Three New Fried Chicken Flavors at Merzci

Kids are generally picky with food. They have their favorites; at the same time, you can never force on them something that they don’t like.

In the case of Abby and Ynzo, who are the subjects of this blog, seven and one-year-old respectively, it’s pretty difficult for them to review some products they don’t like. They won’t eat it and more that they will not do some videos about the food product.

But not in the case of Merzci’s New Fried Chicken. The company recently launched three new flavors of fried chicken. Abby and Ynzo tried the three flavors ( Honey Glazed, Soy Garlic, and Spicy Sriracha ).

Here’s their ( and our’s) verdict.

Honey Glazed Fried Chicken

The kids both love the Honey Glazed Fried Chicken. For obvious reasons. This flavor is sweet and very pleasant for their palate. Generally speaking, chicken is one food that both Abby and Ynzo love so much. They can almost eat this food every day.

With Merzci’s offering, they were extra delighted by the sweetness and aroma of honey.

At Merzci Fastfood outlets, you can enjoy this flavor in two combos:

One piece Honey Glazed (HGFC) with spaghetti.
One piece Honey Glazed with pancit, lumpia shanghai, and rice

Soy Garlic Fried Chicken

This flavor has a hint of saltiness that goes along well with its sweet-sour-garlic taste. When Abby and Ynzo tried the chicken, we were surprised that Ynzo ate more than Abby. Of course, they didn’t consume as much, but this flavor comes perfectly for us adults, especially with rice.

Spicy Sriracha Fried Chicken

I don’t know many kids who can’t tolerate spicy flavors. We were the ones who enjoyed this flavor so much. In fact, we just ordered this variant (as of this writing) for our guests who are coming for a visit.

Why Abby and Ynzo Adores Merzci’s Fried Chicken

Among kids, fried chicken is one of the most popular dishes. Each time we asked Abby why she loves chicken, she would tell us that it’s tender, tasty, and sweet. She was referring of course to the honey glazed flavor.

Chicken meat is generally friendly for the kid’s teeth because of its tenderness compared to other types of meat.

In the case of Merzci’s fried chicken, they added exciting flavors that kids (and adults ) would surely love.

Nutritional Values of Chicken

Chicken is white protein meat and is suitable for children’s muscles. Moreover, it contains amino acids and calcium that aids in the development of their bones. Other nutrients found in chicken meat are as follows: Vitamin B12, Tryptophan, Choline, Zinc, Iron, Copper.
